63 new dengue cases in Karachi

KARACHI- At least 63 more dengue fever cases have been detected across the city of Karachi, over a span of 01 week, taking the reported cases toll to 1,862, since January 1st.
As per the weekly report issued by Prevention and Control Program for Dengue in Sindh, as many as 72 new dengue fever cases have been reported, across the province of Sindh, out of which 63 were found to be from Karachi and 09 from other districts of Sindh.
So far, for the month of December, 233 dengue positive cases have been reported from throughout Sindh, out of which 224 are from Karachi, and 9 from other districts.
District East, South, West and Central are said to be the most affected districts in Karachi division, while dengue cases are also being reported from Hyderabad, Larkana, Sukkur and Ghotki.
