Doctors continue their protest at PIMS

ISLAMABAD – The Medical practitioners belonging to Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS)continued to stage their protest, against the recent attack on a senior doctor.

The speakers addressing the protesting doctors are demanding that; the government should immediately arrest the culprits who attacked Dr Shahid, and proper security to doctors working with the hospital must be ensured.

According to reports, the protesters are demanding that the concerned quarters should ensure a peaceful working atmosphere for medical staff at all hospitals, as doctors are those who save precious lives daily, but now their own lives are under threat.

Seniors doctors Dr Khaliquz Zaman, Dr Wasim Khawaja and representatives of Young Doctors Association (YDA); Dr Asfandyar and Dr Farooq spoke on the occasion.
