Karachi still plagued by Dengue

- 46 more cases emerge from Karachi city

KARACHI-  As many as 46 more dengue fever cases were reported across the city of Karachi within a week, taking the reported cases toll to 815, since 1st January 2018.

As per the weekly report issued by Prevention and Control Program for Dengue in Sindh, at least 47 new dengue fever cases surfaced throughout the province of Sindh, out of which 46 were reported within Karachi and 01 from another district of the province.

In September, a total of 68 dengue positive cases emerged across the province, out of which 67 were from Karachi and 01 from other district of Sindh.

This year, a total number of 863 dengue cases surfaced across the province of Sindh, 815 being from Karachi and 48 from rest of the province.

This year, a death was also reported in Karachi due to dengue fever.
