Medical College Sports Competition comes to an End

KARACHI-  Dow University of Health Sciences (DUHS) stood victorious in 10 tournament games in All Karachi Inter Professional Medical College Sports Competition.

Bahria University remained successful in three tournaments securing second position whereas, Aga Khan University and Hamdard University secured the third position, winning one tournament in the competition.

All Karachi Inter Professional Medical College Sports Competition was kicked off on 12th March 2018 and continued till 19th March 2018 at DUHS Ojha Campus. Around 2000 students of 17 Medical Colleges of Karachi participated in this sports competition, enthusiastically. The prize distribution ceremony for the winners is scheduled to be held on 29th March 2018 at Moin Auditorium of Dow Medical College.

DUHS  team defeated the Baqai Medical College in ThrowBall Final (Girls), they also defeated Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto Medical College in the match of NetBall (Girls).

Similarly DUHS’s team defeated Ziauddin University in Football Boys, also defeated Virtual University in Volleyball Boys.

DUHS team also defeated  Karachi Medical and Dental College in Basketball competition; While Bahria University defeated DUHS in Basketball Girls.

During the  Boys Squash tournament,  Jinnah Medical and Dental College lost from DUHS, after tough competition. During the final round, Bahria University won the title.

DUHS  Boys team won  the Table Tennis Tournament, whereas the Girl’s Table Tennis team lost at the hands of Bahria University.

 Agha Khan University’s  team snatched the winning title from  DUHS  during the Badminton Girls’ Tournament, while  DUHS  Boy’s team won the final of Badminton.

Hamdard Medical University Cricket Boys team won the title and beat Baqai Medical University.

All participants showed huge level of zeal and enthusiasm and thoroughly enjoyed this competition.
