Minister Ghulam Baloch Pays a Surprise Visit to Valika Hospital

KARACHI- Provincial Minister for Labor and Human Resources, Mr Ghulam Murtaza Baloch paid a surprise visit to Kulsoom Bai Valika Hospital Karachi and expressed his indignation over the condition of the health facility

He voiced out his concerns regarding the unhygienic environment and poor state of cleanliness.

He then directed the Medical Superintendent of Kulsoom Bai Valika Hospital, Dr Muhammad Nawaz Gahoti, to take strict action against all the supervisors and cleaning staff; and create a safe and clean environment for the patients to recover fittingly.

The Minister visited all the departments of the hospital, including their operation theater, pharmacy, hospital’s mess and offices.

He also enquired from the patients regarding the services and facilities offered at the health center, and took duly noted their complaints and suggestions.

He also performed an inspection of all the food items that are provided to the patients, on which he exhibited satisfaction.

All the doctors and staff were directed by him, to act in a friendly manner while dealing with patients and their attendants, and to provide them with proper medical care.

He informed the health facility that, surprise visits shall continue, and any kind of negligence from duties would be intolerable
