Private practice introduced at KIHD

KARACHI- Karachi Institute of Heart Diseases (KIHD) has recently introduced ‘Private Practice’ for its faculty members, in addition to their own official duties, to further facilitate patients suffering from cardiovascular diseases.
The KIHD management has taken this step upon the directives of Mayor Karachi.
It was decided by the management that the faculty members and helping staff would perform surgical procedures on 50% general and 50% private patients, whereby the private patients’ procedures will be performed after 01:00 pm, so to manage the patient influx.
However, the patients being funded from the Zakat Foundation are not included in this program.
