Mentally challenged girl raped by sixteen-year-old

Karachi: In a new instance of violence against women, a mentally challenged girl has been sexually assaulted by a sixteen-year-old in the Mehmoodabad area.

The girl has been shifted to the hospital, initial medical reports have confirmed that the girl was raped. The sixteen year old has admitted to the crime during investigation has been arrested. The accused is currently under the custody of the authorities.

Further investigation on the incident is underway, details shall be released as progress is made.
