Azra Maqsood COO NICVD resigns from her post

KARACHI: Azra Maqsood, Chief Operating Officer, National Institute of Cardiovascular Diseases(NICVD), has resigned from her position. 

Dr Sohail Khan, who has done his master's in Healthcare Management (MHCM) from Harvard University, who is also a Diplomat American Board of Cardiology and Diplomat American Board of Interventional Cardiology, working as Assistant Professor of Cardiology, is being given temporary charge as the COO of NICVD with immediate effect till such the new COO is appointed. 

Sources at NICVD said COO Dr Azra Maqsood was upset against cases against the institution, and she was facing health issues due to the pressure of cases. Therefore, she resigned.
