MIAMI: Jon Bon Jovi, lead vocalist of the legendary 80’s band Bon Jovi, tested positive for Covid-19 right before going on stage for a concert at Miami Beach, Florida.

A representative announced the bad news to the crowd gathered for the ‘Livin’ On A Prayer’ band’s performance, WSVN in Miami reported.

All the members of Bon Jovi took rapid tests just before the concert but the lead vocalist, Jon Bon Jovi, aged 59, was the only one who tested positive, despite being fully vaccinated. Those attending the concert, the main event of a three-day excursion starting at thousands per person, knew it was mandatory to show proof of vaccination or a negative test result.

“Jon’s doing great,” the announcer assured the awaiting crowd, adding that the singer was going to go sleep. There was no confirmation on the event’s rescheduled dates.
