He said that the demands include health risk allowance, paramedics' service structure, promotions of nurses and dental seats, among others. Chairman GHA says that OPD will not be conducted in any hospital in Sindh from today; the boycott of hospitals will continue till November 5, and will announce the next action plan from November 6.

The chairman of Grand Health Alliance further said that there would be a complete boycott of operation theatres, wards and other services of hospitals from November 7.

Grand Health Alliance Sindh has demanded that the health risk allowance of the medical staff working in Corona wards and centres should not be stopped, the decision to stop the age risk allowance should be withdrawn, and other demands should be approved.

If demands are not accepted by November 07, there will be massive protests at the Karachi Press Club, while protests outside the Chief Minister's House, the Governor's House or the Sindh Assembly will also be held if genuine demands are not accepted.

On the other hand, Chairman Dr Mehboob Noorani condemned Sindh Health Minister's statement and said that Sindh Health Minister should apologize for his statement. The Grand Health Alliance (GHA) has also demanded the resignation of the Sindh Health Minister.

The doctors, nurses and paramedical staff staged a protest at Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre for risk allowance. The protesters carried banners and placards inscribed with different slogans like justice for employees, restore risk allowance, promote nurses and others.

The protestors said that when Corona is there, why has the health allowance of the staff been stopped? The government should close the Corona and isolation wards or restore our health allowance.
