Import of life-saving drugs from India to resume

admin 09:57 AM, 5 Sep, 2019
ISLAMABAD: Pakistan has finally allowed resuming of import of life-saving drugs from India, which was earlier banned. The Nation Security Committee had decided to suspend trade with India on account of the brutality in occupied Kashmir.

The decision to recommence trade became essential considering the much needed relief for the patients, and a statutory regulatory order (SRO) was issued by the Ministry of Commerce to this effect.

Since August 05th, the IoK is under curfew and a communication blockade has been imposed in the region to suppress protests against the Narendra Modi government.
