Hospital administration blames K-Electric

Karachi: Following the earlier report by Medical News regarding the death of 9 infants due to incubator/ventilator malfunction in a hospital based in Korangi, Karachi, the hospital administration has blamed K-Electric for the failure of the medical equipment due which the unfortunate incident took place earlier today. The allegation was leveled against the city power company after a preliminary investigation conducted on the order of the Governor of Sindh, Dr. Ishrat-Ul-Ibad Khan and Chief Minister Sindh, Qaim Ali Shah.

K-Electric was quick to respond to the allegations and made a public statement using their social media outlets shortly before denying the blame. K Electric claims that there was no load shedding or breakdown in the vicinity the hospital is located when the unfortunate incident took place.

K-Electric denounced the claims categorically and claimed the unfortunate incident was a result of negligence of the hospital administration and the concerned should refrain from playing a blame game.The matter still under investigation and key reason for the failure of the medical equipment and loss of 9 infants are still unknown.
