693 fresh COVID-19 cases surface in Pakistan

ISLAMABAD: 693 new cases of COVID-19 were registered in the last 24 hours, according to the National Institute of Health (NIH) data.

According to the National Institute of Health, 21,137 tests were conducted for COVID-19 across the country in the past 24 hours, out of which 693 were positive. According to the report, the nationwide COVID-19 test positivity ratio remained at 43.28 per cent. 

Moreover, no COVID-19-related death was reported in the past 24 hours, stated NIH, adding that 165 people are in critical condition.
