Chairman Iqra University Hunaid Lakhani passed away

KARACHI: Hunaid Lakhani, Educationist and activist, dies of dengue fever at a hospital in Karachi.

He founded and served as chancellor of Iqra University. According to family sources, Hunaid Lakhani was treated for dengue virus at a hospital in Karachi but could not recover.

Upon hearing about Hunaid Lakhani's untimely passing, several academics and officials, including the president of Pakistan, extended their condolences.

Hunaid Lakhani maintained ties to the PTI and Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P). Together with Alamgir Khan, he co-founded the FIXIT organization.
