Interviews for Vice Chancellors postponed due to non inclusion of candidate

KARACHI: The interviews of 13 candidates for the posts of Vice-Chancellors of Liaquat Medical University Jamshoro and Larkana Medical University have been postponed due to the non-inclusion of the name of a particular candidate. 

The interviews were scheduled to take place on in December 2022 and the interview letters were also sent to the candidates by post. 

Among the 13 candidates who were declared eligible are Dr Ali Akbar Bhand, Dr Bika Ram, Dr Ikramuddin Ajan, Dr Khalid Talpur, Dr Aziz Ajan, Dr Mehr ul Nasa, Dr Sughra, Dr Zulfiqar Soomro, Dr Akbar Sial, Dr Saifullah Jamro, Dr Safdar Ali Sheikh, Dr Iqbal Afridi, Dr Qurban Ali Rahu and Moeen Ansari were among others. 

The applications of more than 30 candidates were examined in the meeting chaired by the head of the search committee, Dr Tariq Rafi, and 13 candidates were declared eligible for the two universities. 

The meeting was attended by Secretary Board Mureed Rahman, Dr Naushad Sheikh, Dr Saeed Qureshi, Special Secretary, College Educator Abdul Aleem Lashari who has been transferred as Commissioner Nawabshah recently.
