Suspect in Chinese dentist terrorist attack arrested by CTD

Karachi: The Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) in the Sindh Police claims to have arrested the suspect involved in the attack on Chinese dentists at their clinic in Karachi’s Saddar area

On the 28th September, a young man, in the pretense of a patient, entered the clinic and shot fire on 3 dentists, of Chinese origin that had been running their dental practice in the Saddar area of Karachi for decades.

Shortly after the shocking incident, the Police had registered a case and begun an inquiry into the matter

In the statement made by CTD today, it was stated that the suspect, Waqar Kushik, was associated with the Sindh People’s Army and was caught during a targeted operation. They also claimed that the suspect’s footprint was carefully examined and identified with the help of intelligence officials and the suspect’s motorcycle that was used in the attack has also been recovered
