PMC qualified for recognition by WFME

Islamabad: Pakistan Medical Commission finalized the subsequent requirements, necessary to be eligible for the World Federation of Medical Education (WFME) recognition for its Accreditation Program.

According to a statement made by PMC, the institutions shall discuss the best time for the WFME’s team of assessors to visit Pakistan.

The assessors shall personally visit PMC, to inspect the regulatory body itself, as well as certain colleges and universities in Pakistan.

The site inspection and assessment stage is to be completed within the forthcoming 12 months.

The acceptance of PMC’s accreditation program by the WFME will enable all universities and colleges that are recognized by the PMC to be considered WFME accredited and therefore, graduates of these universities shall be allowed to work and train in the US without any restriction.
