PMA 35th Biennial Conference held in Lahore  

LAHORE: Pakistan Medical Association (PMA) held its 35th Biennial Medical Conference and 3rd Pak-China Medcong, at a local hotel in Lahore recently.  

The conference had a very expedient scientific program that consisted of 75 scientific sessions on Neurology, Cancer, Ophthalmology, Pulmonology, Obstetrics & Gynecology, Pediatrics, Cardiology, Medicine, Surgery, Orthopedics, Family Medicine, Maternal Nutrition, Transplant Surgery & Stem Cell, Public Health, Health Delivery System and Medical Education. The lectures were delivered on these subjects by experts from Pakistan and abroad.   

Besides the scientific session, PMA had its Biennial Central Council Meeting and General Body Meeting recently. These official meetings were attended by a large number of delegates from all over Pakistan. The constitutional agenda was followed in these meetings.  

Different reports based on two years of activities of the association were presented in the Central Council Meeting and were unanimously adopted.  

The scrutiny process of nomination papers for elections of the National Office Bearers of PMA Centre, for the term 2022–2024, was completed at the Central Council Meeting and then in General Body Meeting following Office Bearers were elected and declared Successful.
