"Clinical skills always come from repeated procedures" Yasmin Rashid attends Gynaecology workshop

LAHORE: Punjab Health Minister Dr Yasmin Rashid attended the workshop organized at Government Lady Aitchison Hospital as a special guest. 

On this occasion, Vice Chancellor King Edward Medical University Professor Dr Mahmoud Yaz, CEO of the hospital Professor Dr Saqib Saeed, MS Dr Munir Ahmad Malik, Prof Safdar Khan and other doctors were present. MS Dr Munir Ahmed presented the annual performance of Government Lady Aitchison Hospital on this occasion.

Provincial Health Minister Dr Yasmin Rashid in her address to the participants of the workshop said that it is very important to educate gynaecologists about the treatment of fistula.

"Gynecologists will get a chance to learn a lot from this workshop. There is no one more important than the patient for a doctor. It is very important for a doctor to take the patient's history before treatment. A doctor's clinical skills always come from repeated procedures". Provincial Health Minister Dr Yasmin Rashid said that there were more than two thousand deliveries annually in the 200-bed Government Lady Aitchison Hospital.

The government will provide more facilities to the patients coming to Lady Aitchison Hospital. The provincial health minister congratulated Professor Safdar Khan for giving awareness about fistula to gynaecologists and congratulated the administration for organising the workshop.
