Twice in a row, Lahore becomes most polluted city once again

KARACHI: Lahore is once again on the top as one of the most polluted cities of the world as pollution in the air of the city has exceeded the limits again.

According to the air quality index report, the average air quality index of Lahore city has been recorded at 250.

In Gulberg area of ​​Lahore, the air quality index rate has been recorded as 322, while in Jauhar town, 416 and the highest rate has been recorded on Canal Road as 458.

According to the classification, pollution from 151 to 200 levels is harmful to health, while pollution from 201 to 300 levels is counted as extremely harmful to health.

Keeping in mind that levels above 301 indicate hazardous pollution and health experts have advised respiratory and asthma patients to be cautious.
