JSMU faculty and staff donates one day's salary to the Earthquake victims of Turkiye and Syria 

KARACHI: Jinnah Sindh Medical University's faculty and staff have donated their one day's salary to the Earthquake victims of Turkiye and Syria. 

Governor Sindh Kamran Khan Tessori, as Chancellor of Jinnah Sindh Medical University presented a cheque for the earthquake relief fund to Higher Education Commission's Chairman Dr Mukhtar Ahmed, accompanied by the Vice Chancellor Professor Amjad Siraj Memon today at the Governor's House. 

The Governor expressed his support for the earthquake victims of the brotherly countries. The Vice Chancellor Professor Memon stressed on the role JSMU has always played in relief activities for victims of disasters and pledged to continue their relentless support for suffering humanity everywhere in the world. 

Last year also, JSMU had donated millions of rupees worth of goods and medical aid services to victims of floods in Pakistan.
