Dahar voices concern over doctors’ attendance

KARACHI - Sindh Health Minister Jam Mehtab Hussain Dahar has directed the Special Secretary (Health) Riaz Memon to ensure attendance of doctors, especially that of senior doctors and specialists, so that the patients of government hospitals might not suffer. 

Presiding over a meeting at his office, he said that complaints continued to pouring in that senior doctors usually did not give proper time at their workplace as they spend more time at their clinics and private hospitals.

He hoped that public sector hospitals would perform their duties honestly and diligently.

Highlighting the importance and services being rendered by lady health workers (LHWs), the minister said that he was aware of their problems and would leave no stone unturned in resolving them.
