Queen of U.K. and commonwealth states tested positive

ENGLAND: The revelation that Queen Elizabeth has tested positive for COVID-19 has sparked anxiety and fear in England.

Buckingham Palace has issued a statement confirming the news.

According to their initial report, Queen Elizabeth II is anticipated to continue with minimal duties this week.

Her first significant public engagement in more than three months, the monarch addressed in-person audiences at the palace last week but reported to one attendee of stiffness and was spotted with a walking cane.

In the wake of Prince Charles, the Queen's heir, testing positive for COVID-19, concerns have grown regarding the monarch's health and well-being. After 70 years on the throne, the U.K.'s longest-serving Queen made the shocking announcement.

In June, the country will commemorate its platinum jubilee with a series of events across the country.
