Sindh registered 1154 dengue cases this year

KARACHI: The Vector Borne Diseases (VBD) Department of Directorate General Health Services Sindh has recorded 1154 dengue cases across the Sindh province; out of them, 867were registered in Karachi from 1st January to 26th July 2022. 

However, no death due to dengue fever has been reported yet. As per statistics shared by the Sindh Health Department, Vector Borne Diseases Department has registered a total of 1,154 throughout Sindh province, out of which 159  were recorded in January, 41 in February, 62 in March, 120 in April, 179 in May, 310 in June and 283 till 26th July 2022. 

Out of a total of 1154 Sindh cases, 867 have been registered in Karachi this year so far. Most cases were recorded in District East 361, followed by District Central 182 and  District South 139.
