ISLAMABAD: PakVitae and NBP, in collaboration with the Hashoo Foundation and the Asifa-Irfan Foundation, have ramped up their efforts to assist flood victims with 15,000 nanoscale water treatment devices. These appliances will clean more than 150 million litres of water and save transportation expenses.

To date, heavy flooding has impacted 30 million people in Pakistan, demolishing and severely damaging around 320,000 homes. Since June, the death toll has surpassed one thousand, and the damage has exceeded ten billion dollars. Sindh and Balochistan are the provinces with the greatest people and infrastructure impacted.

In this time of crisis, PakVitae and NBP, in collaboration with the Hashoo Foundation and the Asifa-Irfan Foundation, are redoubling their efforts to provide flood victims with 15,000 nanoscale water treatment devices, which will provide over 150 million litres of clean drinking water while reducing the enormous logistics costs associated with transporting bottled water. These gadgets are incredibly user-friendly and can purify any available water source.

The water purifiers manufactured by PakVitae have received quality certifications from NUST, SGS, and PCRWR.

The organisation is doing its utmost to provide extended aid and rehabilitation to flood victims by supplying this two-year-durable eco-friendly equipment.

Each device cleanses 10,000 litres of water, reduces CO2 emissions by up to 2 tonnes, and reduces plastic trash by approximately 400 kg. It is a Durable Product. Food and other relief activities will run out in a few days, but this product is a worthwhile long-term solution.
