32 new dengue cases detected in Karachi

Karachi: At least 32 more dengue viral fever cases were recorded in the city last week.

According to weekly report of Dengue Prevention and Control Programme, Sindh, 32 new dengue fever cases were detected in Karachi and one in Hyderabad between January 22 and 28, 2016.

“Though the number of dengue fever cases reported in Sindh in January, 2016 stood at 153, no one had died of the disease in the first month of the current year, so far,” the report added.
