Basic Life Support seminar held at Baqai College of Nursing

Karachi: Baqai College of Nursing, organized a seminar on “Basic Life Support”. The purpose of seminar was to provide awareness about the basic technique of life saving techniques likes CPR, mouth to mouth breathing, chest compression etc these techniques are the most important aides in the field of Nursing.

Farhana Tabassum, Director, Baqai College of Nursing said, that Nurses plays the vital role in the life of Patients. Nurses are like First-Aid-Kit and it is very helpful in case of emergencies. She said, that Nursing is the profession that gives respect and pleasure we are here to removes the negative thinking about the profession of Nursing. We promise and pledge to make leaders to build role models, reward personal goals, performance rewards and we also provides internships to students of Baqai Hospitals and Fatima Hospitals and provide them basic life saving skills.



Arsalan Sunil, Ambreen Mubarak, Nazish, Nursing Instructors presented slides on “CPR” the purpose of these slides to aware students and nursing staff how to treat patients of different ages in case of emergencies.

At the end of the workshop, certificates allocating 2 credit hours were distributed to the registered participants.
