CHK Nurse with A Fake Diploma; Fails to Appear for Hearing

KARACHI- A ghost employee, working as a staff nurse at Dr. Ruth K.M Civil Hospital Karachi (CHK) on bogus diploma, since five months, recently ran away from the hospital upon directed to appear before the competent authority for investigation.

Wakeel Hussain s/o Muhammad Panjal, was appointed as staff nurse (BS-16) in January 2018 at CHK with the approval of competent authority, on the recommendation of Sindh Public Service Commission. During verification of his certificate and other documents, it was found that his diploma was bogus, and was further sent to the Sindh Nurses Examination Board, Karachi to verify the revelation.

The authorities at Dr. Ruth Pfau Civil Hospital Karachi, wrote a letter to the Secretary Health Sindh, stating the situation and mentioned about conducting a personal hearing.

The alleged nurse Wakeel Hussain was asked to sit under the supervision of  Mr. Naeem (In-charge Nursing Branch), Mr. Ilyas Bhatti, Mr. Khawaja Zia (PA to MS), till the hearing he fled away.

The Station House Officer (SHO) Eigah Police Station has been requested to lodge an FIR against Wakeel Hussain (staff nurse) for showing fake documents.

Medical Superintendent, CHK, Dr. Tofique also verified the news and mentioned that action would be taken against Wakeel Hussain for using forged documents and misleading the hospital management.
