Commissioners to monitor polio eradication drive

Karachi: Sindh Chief Secretary Muhammad Siddiqui Memon has instructed commissioners and deputy commissioners to personally monitor the ongoing polio eradication campaign in their respective divisions and districts.

He gave these directives at a meeting held at the Sindh secretariat to review the efforts being made by the provincial government for the eradication of polio.

Minister of State for Health Saira Afzal Tarrar, Sindh Health Minister Jam Mehtab Hussain Dahar, Senator Ayesha Raza Farooq, provincial chief for anti-polio drive Azra Pechuho, Federal Secretary Muhammad Ayub Shaikh, Additional Chief Secretary Muhammad Waseem, Commissioner Karachi Shoaib Ahmed Siddiqui and Coordinator Dr Usman Chachar attended the meeting.
