COVID-19 claims the lives of 32 healthcare professionals in Sindh

KARACHI: At least 32 healthcare professionals have died due to the coronavirus in the Sindh province, including 28 doctors and four other staff members.

As per the statistics issued by the Pakistan Medical Association (PMA-Centre), as many as 32 healthcare workers have lost their lives in the line of duty owing to the viral disease till date out of which 28 were doctors and four were staff members.

In Sindh, 11 deaths were recorded in Karachi, four in Hyderabad, three in Larkana, two in Khairpur, one each in Tharprkar, Jamshoro, Ubauro, Mirpurkhas, Tando Muhammad Khan, Umerkot, Shikarpur, and Kandhkot.

The statistics said that three nurses and an attendant had also died due to the coronavirus in the Sindh province so far.
