Demo against raid on nursing school

KARACHI- The female students of Lyari’s Ayaz Samoon Nursing Training Institute have demanded of the government to take stern action against the officials of law-enforcement agencies who recently conducted a raid on their school.

Over two dozen female students of the Institute also staged a protest demonstration in the premises of the school to voice their anger over the raid. They chanted slogans against the officials of the law-enforcement agencies for carrying out a search operation in the Institute.

They alleged that police officials barged into the institution and searched their laptop record. 

Principal Ayaz Samoon Nursing Training Institute, Musarrat Yasmeen, confirmed that the law-enforcement agencies’ personnel carried out a raid on the institution, saying the Institute’s administration had taken up matter with high officials of nursing community.
