Dengue: Still A Threat To Karachi!

12 more Dengue Cases surface.

KARACHI- As many as 12 more Dengue Fever cases were detected across Karachi, taking the reported cases toll to 467 in the city, since 1st January 2018. 

As per weekly report issued by Prevention and Control Program for Dengue in Sindh, at least 14 new dengue fever cases surfaced across the province of Sindh, out of which 12 were from Karachi, while 2 from other districts of the province.

In June, a total of 66 dengue cases have been reported throughout the Province of Sindh, out of which 63 were reported from within Karachi, and 3 from other nearby districts of Sindh

Till date, a total of 495 Dengue cases have been reported throughout the Province of Sindh, out of which 467 were reported from within Karachi and 28 from rest of the Province.

Unfortunately, this year, a death was also reported in Karachi from dengue.
