Dengue: Still A Threat To Karachi!

Nine More Dengue Cases Surface.

KARACHI- As many as nine more Dengue Fever cases were detected across Karachi in a week, taking the reported cases toll to 206 in the city, since 1st January 2018.

As per weekly report issued by Prevention and Control Program for Dengue in Sindh, ‘At least nine new dengue fever cases surfaced across Karachi, while two from other districts of the province last week.’

In March, a total of 48 dengue cases have been reported throughout the Province of Sindh, out of which 43 were reported from within Karachi, and 5 from other nearby districts.

Till date, a total 219 Dengue cases have been reported throughout the Province of Sindh, out of which 206 in Karachi and 13 from rest of the Province.

Fortunately, No deaths were reported from dengue this year so far.
