Dr Abdul Wahab passes away

KARACHI: Renowned educationist and President/Vice Chancellor of Mohammad Ali Jinnah University (MAJU) Dr Abdul Wahab breathed his last here on Tuesday at the Aga Khan University Hospital. He was around 80.

Besides his wife, he has left three sons and a daughter to mourn his death.

Prior to joining MAJU, Dr Wahab had served as Karachi University’s vice chancellor, Institute of Business Administration’s (IBA) director and as Rector of Fauji Foundation’s Rawalpindi-Islamabad higher education institute.

His funeral prayers will be offered on Wednesday (Sept 7) at the Karachi University’s Masjid-e-Ibrahim at 1.30pm.

The publisher, editor and all staff members of Medical News express their heartfelt condolences on the sad demise of Dr Wahab and pray to Almighty Allah to rest the departed soul in eternal peace and grant fortitude to the members of the bereaved family to bear this irreparable loss. (Aameen).
