Encroachment Issue at CHK, Soon to Be Resolved

KARACHI- Deputy Commissioner (DC), South, Mr. Syed Salahuddin Ahmed, stated that the encroachment around Dr. Ruth K.M Pfau Civil Hospital Karachi will be removed soon under his supervision, to facilitate patients.


He shared this news while talking to the media, during the tree plantation ceremony held at CHK, in connection of Pakistan’s Independence Day.


Medical Superintendent, CHK, Dr. Muhammad Tofique, AMS, CHK, Dr. Arif Niaz, AMS (Indoor), CHK, Dr. Nasrullah Memon and others were also present at this occasion.


DC, Salahuddin Ahmed also added that, tree plantation drive has started within the South district, and more than 0.15million trees would be planted at different sites, such as underpasses and major roads.


He also urged the citizens to plant atleast one tree at their homes, to make Pakistan a pollution free state. It was also revealed that, Conocarpus trees would soon be replaced with environment friendly trees.


Medical Superintendent, Civil Hospital Karachi, Dr. Tofique stated that, more than 100 Saplings have been planted at different sites of the hospital, to provide a healthy environment for the visiting and attending patients.


Furthermore he added that, more environment friendly trees and flowers would be planted soon.
