Health Risk Allowance all set to release for the COVID-19 front-line fighters

Karachi: The government of the Sindh finance department recently released the much-awaited Health Risk Allowance for the Health Personnel who are fighting against the COVID-19 pandemic.

The notification released by the Secretary to Government of Sindh, Habib-ul-Islam said, “In continuation of this department order of even number dated 2-6-2020, and with the approval of Competent Authority (i.e. Chief Minister Sindh), the Government of Sindh has been please to allot Health Risk -Allowance to the remaining Health Personnel with effect from 01-07-2020,  till subsiding of Coronavirus Pandemic.”

The notification stated different allowances for the respective Basic Pay Scale employees.

The issue of the notification was a breath of relief for the doctors and paramedics staff who were working tirelessly as the front line fighters against COVID-19.

Earlier, a meeting of the newly unanimous elected body of PMA Sindh was held with Dr Azra Fazal Pechuho, Minister Health Sindh after which the alleged notification was released.
