In just one week - 155 dengue patients detected in Karachi

KARACHI - Sindh Minister for Health Jam Mehtab Hussain Dahar has said that in all 1002 dengue patients were detected in Sindh from Jan to Sept 6, 2015 and three of them three could not survive.

In a statement issued here, the minister said that from Aug 31 to Sept 6, 2015, in all 155 dengue viral patients were reported from Karachi, three from Hyderabad and one from Ghotki.
He claimed that a decline in dengue patients has been witnessed due to effective measures taken by the provincial health department in collaboration with other departments and stakeholders.
