Michael visits KPT Hospital

Karachi: Federal Minister for Ports and Shipping Senator Kamran Michael paid a surprise visit to Karachi Port Trust (KPT) Hospital to inspect the facilities available there.

Accompanied by KPT’s General Manager (Administration) Niaz Ali Jesser and Chief Medical  Officer Dr Azam Ali Khwaja, the minister talked to the patients and inquired after their health. He also visited the hospital’s different wards and Intensive Care Unit (ICU).

Expressing satisfaction over facilities available in the hospital, the minister said he was happy to see proper maintenance and cleanliness work at the hospital.

Speaking on the occasion, the minister said that meeting occupational health standards is the responsibility of every organization and that KPT was doing exceptionally good in this regard.

During his meeting with doctors, nurses and parameidcal staff, he lauded their efforts in  managing the affairs of the health facility in a proper manner.
