Chaman: Pakistan and Afghanistan had agreed to make the polio campaign on the Durand more effective. In a high level meeting it was stressed that there is need to strengthen the mutual cooperation for making anti-polio campaign in border areas of the two countries effective.

The discussion has missed the important elements of planning Sbg implementation. The last week alone saw hundreds of families traveling between the two countries miss the drive. This was because the teams ran out of polio vaccines.

The government has been urged to make the necessary arrangements to ensure provision of the vaccine at the border.
