Nurses receive contract letters



LAHORE,:Khawaja Salman Rafique the Advisor to Chief Minister Punjab on Health on the directions of Chief Minister Punjab, Mian Shahbaz Sharif, gave contract of three years to 2,800 ad-hoc nurses working in government hospitals of the province and after that they would be regularized. Others present on the occasion were Parliamentary Secretary Health Khawaja Imran Nazir, Secretary Health Babar Hayat Tarar, DG Health Dr. Zahid Pervaiz, Principal PGMI Prof. Anjum Habib Vohra and MS Dr. Ghulam Sabir.

Khawaja Salman Rafique said that the entire government were concerned about the nurses’ sit-in as they are daughters of the nation and also confirmed 1,500 more vacancies for giving promotion to regular nurses to next grade and in the process resolving their problems as well.
