PMDC suspends membership

KARACHI - Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC) has suspended the PM&DC registration and faculty registration of Prof Dr Saeeda Haider as she was found to be engaged in two full time jobs at different places simultaneously.

According to PM&DC sources, the PM&DC has suspended registration and faculty registration of the professor on grounds of working at two different places in Punjab and Sindh medical colleges which is illegal and not permissible under the law.

It is further learnt that she was provided an opportunity to appear before the Executive Committee to clarify her position but she failed to appear in person and her reply in this regard did not satisfy the committee.

Therefore, PM&DC has decided to suspend her registration till such time that she is able to clarify her position.
