PRCS Celebrates International Youth and Independence Day

KARACHI- Pakistan Red Crescent Society (PRCS), Sindh, celebrated the International Youth Day and Independence Day at SOS Hermann Gmeiner Higher Secondary School Karachi.

The event was based on the theme, ‘Safe Spaces for Youth,’ which was attended by 600 students.

Speaking at the occasion, SOS Chairman Mrs. Naheed and Principal Sharmeen discussed regarding the opportunities available for young people, urging them to channel their energies constructively.

PRCS Youth and Volunteer Officer, Mr. Atif emphasized upon the importance of providing valuable opportunities for our country’s youth to excel.

Moreover, the students were asked to contribute more to the environment, and were made to plant more trees, in order to make the country environment friendly.

The ceremony was concluded with the distribution of shields amongst the meritorious students.
