President donates Rs 5 million for Indus Hospital


KARACHI- President Mamnoon Hussain recently donated an amount of Rs 5 million for the Indus Hospital. The President donated this money during a meeting with the Chief Executive of Indus Hospital – Prof. Dr. Abdul Bari Khan at State Guest House, Karachi, said a press release issued by the President’s Office here.

Mamnoon Hussain expressed his satisfaction over the provision of excellent medical facilities to cardiac patients at the hospital. He said it was a matter of pleasure that the Indus Hospital was providing free of cost services to all segments of society without any discrimination.

The President in particular expressed great happiness that the Indus Hospital was acclaimed internationally as a charitable institute providing services to the needy and the poorest of the poor.

He also expressed his pleasure over the expansion work of the hospital observing that it would serve more patients and expected that philanthropists would join hands to take part in this noble cause.
