PWA’s kind gesture

KARACHI - Patient’s Welfare Association (PWA) of the city’s Civil Hospital celebrated Independence Day with thalassemia children at Thalassemia Day Care Centre.

Children and volunteers took active part in different games, quiz and national songs competitions, organized on the occasion.

PWA run by students of DMC is the largest non-governmental and non-political student organization of the country and it works within the premises of CHK. The PWA provides medicines, screened blood and baseline diagnostic investigation facilities to patients, besides ensuring long-term treatment of TB, thalassemia, epilepsy, asthma, diabetes mellitus, SLE and hypertension patients.
