SDI acquires land for doctors

KARACHI- Sindh Doctors Ittehad (SDI) has acquired a leased land near Fazaia Housing Scheme in Taiser Town, Surjani, for allotting residential plots to doctors on easy instalments.

This was disclosed at a meeting of SDI held under the chairmanship of Dr Muhammad Ali Thailho. It was attended, among others, by Dr Abdul Waheed Sheikh, Dr Husaain Jhatial, Dr Shams Jokhio, Dr Abdus Samad Brohi, Dr Talat Sultana.

Dr Thailho said that the SDI, realising the fact that it was not easy to buy a home in Karachi, had acquired non-governmental leased land near Northern Bypass for allotting among doctors community on easy instalments.

At the outset, he demanded of the government to announce housing schemes for doctors’ community so as to help solve their housing problems.
