Secretary Health visits Civil Hospital Nosheroferoz

KARACHI: Secretary Health, Sindh, Saeed Ahmed Awan, recently paid a visit to the Civil Hospital Nasheroferoz and expressed his displeasure on the overall situation of the health facility.

Saeed Awan expressed his displeasure towards the storekeeper on not maintaining his record and cold chain properly. He also exhibited annoyance over the poor state of cleanliness in the hospital. The X-ray machine and monitors were discovered to be non-functional during his visit.

He directed the doctors, paramedical staff, and others to wear uniforms during their duties and maintain discipline in the hospital.  He instructed that the emergency services like labs and X-ray facilities should be open to deal emergency with patients round the clock.

He directed the Medical Superintendent of Civil Hospital Nasheroferoz to close all illegal medical stores from the premises of the hospital on an urgent basis.
