Renowned Pakistani singer and philanthropist Abrar ul Haq had been working towards the noble mission of building a hospital and medical college in his hometown Narowal in Punjab. Abrar’s manager – Waseem Ilyass recently revealed the good news that the college has now reached its final stage of completion and almost 90 per cent work has been successfully completed. Abrar was in Canada recently to raise some funds through a concert, to enable the completion of this medical college project for the deprived communities in and around Narowal.
Indulging into philanthropic activities is not new for Abrar ul Haq, as he is among those rare artists who have always remained engaged with social development work, through the forum of his non-governmental development organization, Sahara for Life Trust. Abrar is among the founders and main contributors of this NGO, as he is trying to bring a positive change in the Pakistani society through his work.
