Specialized cadre doctor given additional charge of MS CHK

KARACHI: The Sindh Health Department has posted a specialized cadre, Dr Noor Muhammad Soomro, as the Medical Superintendent of the Dr Ruth Pfau Civil Hospital Karachi and transferred general cadre, Dr Khadim Hussain Qureshi, from his post.

According to the notification, on the recommendation of the Sindh Health Department, Dr Khadim Hussain Qureshi, Senior Medical Officer (BS-20), currently posted as the Medical Superintendent, Civil Hospital Karachi has been transferred with immediate effect until further notice as the Chief Superintendent Medical Officer of the Sindh Government Lyari General Hospital Karachi.

Dr Noor Muhammad Soomro, Chief Oncologist (BS-20), CHK, has been assigned to hold the additional charge of the post of Medical Superintendent, CHK, due to the ongoing COVID-19 emergency.

The Sindh Health Department has removed specialized cadre, Prof Dr Saeed Ahmed Qureshi, from the post of Medical Superintendent CHK and Prof Anis Ahmed Bhatti from the position of Executive Director of the Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre in the past over the violation of rules.
