Students’ week at JSMU

Karachi: The closing ceremony of the ongoing 12-day-long students’ week of Jinnah Sindh Medical University (JSMU) will be held on Feb 27.

The colleges participating in various events of the students’ week include Sindh Medical College, Fatima Jinnah Dental College, Jinnah Medical & Dental College, Liaquat College of Medicine and Dentistry, Liaquat National Hospital & Medical College, Altamash Institute of Dental Medicine, United Medical and Dental College, AAPNA APPNA Institute of Public Health, iOHBM and IPS.

According to students’ core committee’s chairperson Dr Ghazala Usman, Walid Haider of LCMD and Amna Saher of SMC won the Qira’at competition, while Faraz Ahmed of SMC and Ayesha Aijaz of LCMD bagged first prize in the Na’at contest.
