Vice Chancellor ZU condoles the sad demise of Prof Shamim Akhtar

KARACHI-  Prof Dr Pirzada Qasim Raza Siddiqui, Vice Chancellor (VC), Ziauddin University (ZU) expressed profound grief over the recent sad demise of veteran academician of Karachi University, Prof Shamim Akhtar.

 “We will always remember his huge contributions and hard work. he had served the longest term in Karachi University as a teacher. This is indeed an irreplaceable loss. It was his great love and respect for education that even after getting retired for more than three decades, he continued hsi teaching services in Karachi University”, said Prof Pirzada Qasim.

 While paying tribute to Prof Shamim Akhtar, Pirzada further added "Mr Shamim was an immense source of inspiration for his family, colleagues and friends. We hope that Allah Almighty give strength to his family to bear this enormous loss. He will surely be remembered in our hearts."
